Privacy policy

Who is responsible

The data controller is GooServices, micro-entreprise de Pierre-Louis Nodin. Contact for any question or request: [email protected].

What we collect

Your email address, the language of the page where you entered it, the date of your sign-up, the version of the consent text you accepted, the status of the sign-up (awaiting confirmation, confirmed, unsubscribed) and the dates the confirmation emails were sent.

We do not record your IP address or any browsing data. This page uses no cookies, no audience-measurement tool, and no font or script hosted by a third party.

Why, and on what basis

To email you when Rankhop launches and to offer you a free audit of your site. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box in the form and then confirming your address. You can withdraw it at any time.

Only one email is sent before the service launches: the confirmation email, with a link valid for 48 hours. Until you confirm, we send you nothing else. Every email contains an unsubscribe link.

For how long

Until the launch message, then twelve months at most, unless you withdraw your consent sooner. After that, the address is deleted. If you unsubscribe, the address is kept marked “unsubscribed” to guarantee that we do not email you again; write to [email protected] to have it erased completely.

Who has access

Only us and our host OVHcloud, which stores the data on servers located in the European Union (Germany). Site traffic goes through Cloudflare, which relays requests without storing your address; Cloudflare, Inc. is a US company, so this transit may pass through servers outside the European Union. We neither sell nor rent your address.

To send the emails we use the Resend service (Resend, Inc., a US company), our processor: your address is passed to it for sending, which is a transfer outside the European Union. The terms of this transfer are described in Resend’s data protection documentation (resend.com).

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction, its erasure, a restriction of processing or its portability, and withdraw your consent. Write to [email protected]: we answer within one month.

If the answer does not satisfy you, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in France, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

When the service launches

The connection to Google Search Console will have its own privacy policy, published before you make it.
